Left-handed and upside-down

My dad’s in a band. It’s called Polka Plus. Yep, that’s them above and yes, they always wear those awesome uniforms (although my mom just informed me that sometimes they switch it up with fake tuxedo t-shirts - equally awesome). As far as polka bands go, they’re pretty rockin’. Polka wasn’t really my dad’s thing, but when his rock band, “Mass Confusion” was breaking up (you know, band drama), he was a drummer gone solo and missed life on the road, so he agreed to join Polka Plus.
This is a random posting, but just struck me because I just talked to him and he had 3, yes THREE gigs last weekend. Fall is busy, with Oktoberfests, Polish festivals and whatnot. He got home from the first Friday at 1am, only to go to  another Saturday, play at church Sunday AM, then another gig Sunday afternoon. I think I normally take it for granted that my dad is such a rockstar. At 61, I sure hope I’m doing something half as cool…
