On top of holiday shenanigans and lots of good times with family and friends, my trip to NC was for checking things off the wedding to-do list. My best crafting partner in crime (my mama) and I had a great time treasure hunting and pulling some of the details together.
Did you know that you can easily make cake stands by glueing candlesticks to old plates? I even used small bowls for the base of some to play with the look/height. And with that tip from a friend, ladies and gentlemen, I was officially taken over the edge and into the world of Pinterest. It’s a world I’ve been avoiding for a while for fear of falling into a big black hole of crafty bloggy inspiration, so let’s hope I emerge before it’s time to go back to work and be a productive, practical citizen.
