Crepe breakfast and browsing in the pouring rain: the flea market and vintage shops on Melrose - I recommend Wasteland.
{The rain was really as bad as it looks in the link - I stepped out of a store to find 2 feet deep rushing water, people standing on their cars waiting to be rescued, and fire trucks. I ran/waded through it in my maxi length dress and made a break for my car, which luckily was parked on slighter higher ground. whew!}
