It’s been a while. Without further ado, this week’s Sunday Night Movie + Meal…

[food]: Chicken stuffed with spinach, feta and pine nuts with dried currant couscous

[film]: Sin Nombre. A gut-wrenching story about Mexican gangs and immigrating illegally to the US. More than once I winced, cried, and dove into the couch unable to watch. Eric reminded me it was just a movie. Yes, just a movie, but it’s also daily life for so many people. We are so lucky. Don’t let me scare you away…everyone should see this.

Has anyone else been following (or a victim of) the drama that’s going on in Riverside Park at 72nd? The opposition had the nerve to post these new signs after rogue cyclists tore down the paper laminated ones. Upon further inspection, I’ve determined that these new signs, mounted on foam core, appear to be faux city signs.

I’ve been away for a few days so will have to see the latest and report back next week. Stay tuned as the drama unfolds…

Not going to lie - I’m pretty pumped for GG in Paris this season, mostly for la mode (zee fashion). Also, it will bring back memories, since Julie and I looked JUST like this while studying abroad during the Summer of ‘01! Riiight…
