It’s an incredible feeling when you feel like the person you’re with knows you and the things you’d like even better than yourself. Eric did an amazing job planning a surprise destination getaway to Hudson, NY this weekend to celebrate my 30th. It was the perfect way to ring in a new decade; I’m a very lucky gal. Thanks again, E.

So, I’m buying these plates for very special two year old twins (Pam, don’t tell Zallie what they’re getting!), and I kinda want one for myself. Weird?
It was small towns, mountain views, toes in the sand, slow drawls, local food, lots of wine, time spent together and with Eric’s family, and basically everything we wanted. And of course…over too soon, but luckily Christmas and QT with my family is just around the corner. Griswolds, I can’t wait to see you - especially the littlest G’s.
